Agro Farm Supplier is a fourth generation family farm, located in California, Nebraska. A farrow to finish operation with 22,000 sows, finishing around 660,000 market hogs per year. In the past few years AFS has earned a reputation as one of the most successful swine operations in the world, with a core value of doing what’s right for people and animals.
Agro Farm Supplier has entertained tours from countless swine production systems from the United States, and over 20 foreign countries. The reason AFS is willing to share information with producers from around the world, is not to improve their competitor’s success, but rather promote a philosophy within the industry, that the people at Agro Farm Supplier believe to be the key to their success. “Doing what’s right for people and animals”, they believe translates into truly caring for employees and in turn, their employees truly care for the animals they are responsible for. We believe future improvements in Productivity are directly related to our ability to continue to find way to reduce stress on both animals, as well as employees.
